Welcome to Blogger’s Beat! I am Rachel Lynn, the creator of this blog and the helper of the confused, the lost, and the dead broke entrepreneur!

Since you are visiting this page, I assume you are wanting to know why I run a blogging blog, and even more importantly, why should you even listen to me.

Well, I won’t say that I have all of the answers because I don’t. Nor will I say that I am always right, because I am not. What I will say, though, is that blogging is my passion and I have a lot to offer.

In addition to this blog, I also run a successful Home Improvement blog, Queen Bee of Honey Dos, and an online store. But, it didn’t happen overnight. I worked hard, struggled and stumbled my way through all the ins and outs of the blogging world. Hopefully, my lessons learned will make life a little easier for you.

My background:

I started delving into the realm of online businesses in 2001 when I left my accounting job and started my first online store. Over the next 14 years, I closed my store, took several years off to have children, went back to college to get a second degree (BBA) concentrating on information systems and management, and started my first blog. (Whew! That was a mouth full!)

However, it wasn’t all sweetness and light. When I started my first blog, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. Although I was very tech savvy, I wasn’t much of a socialite. I didn’t even have a Facebook account.

The only thing that pulled me out of my introverted hole was my desire to help people. I love teaching people how to do things. Whether it be achieving their best home, or getting the most from their blogging careers, I have a passion for providing assistance.

Today:

I live in Tennessee with my husband and twin boys. I am also happy to say that I love what I do and wouldn’t trade it for any other job in the world! I have made a wonderful career from blogging, and I hope to help others further their own blogging careers.
